Bathroom Remodeling Project 2

The master
shower with
existing
double
vanity and
two doors
(one on the
left and one
on the
right leading
to
shower/water
closet and
walk in
closet
respectively |
 |
|
Initially
the door
leading to
shower was
to be made
into a
pocket door
to gain more
room inside.
The idea was
abandoned
when
obstacles
were found
in the wall
on both
sides of the
door and the
only way to
go ahead
with the
pocket door
idea would
be to
increase the
size of the
wall. The
space was of
the essence
and the door
stayed in
place |
 |
|
The existing
shower with
a header was
trapping a
lot of
mildew.
Knocking it
out allowed
better air
circulation
as well as
added more
room to the
cramped
interiors. |
 |
|
The vertical
wall on the
left was
also removed
allowing
more room
for the
glass door |
 |

Stripped to
studs with
old fixtures
hanging
loose. The
vertical
wall on the
left is
taken out. |
